This Privacy Policy is provided pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
The Data Controller is ArtiFix, based in Italy. For any request, you can contact the Controller at: info@artifix.it.
Data voluntarily provided by the user: Through the "Contact Us" form, name, email address, and message are collected to respond to requests received.
Navigation data: The site uses technical cookies (for operation) and analytics cookies (optional) as described in the Cookie Policy.
Files uploaded: Files uploaded by users for conversion are processed temporarily in memory on the server and are not stored after processing. We do not collect, store or share the content of uploaded files.
If you decide to support the ArtiFix project with a free donation, we collect the following data:
Purpose: accounting management of the donation, thank-you messages, project-related communications.
Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6, para. 1, lett. a GDPR) + performance of a liberality relationship (Art. 6, para. 1, lett. b GDPR).
Retention: 10 years (tax/accounting obligations).
If the company wishes to obtain visibility recognition (banner), we additionally collect:
Purpose: banner publication in the app sidebar, sponsorship-related communications, renewal reminder emails.
Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6, para. 1, lett. a GDPR).
Retention: 24 months from the end of the sponsorship (for possible renewals).
During donation, we may collect:
Purpose: security, fraud prevention, aggregate statistics.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6, para. 1, lett. f GDPR).
Retention: 12 months.

Data collected via the contact form is retained for the time strictly necessary to respond to the request and, in any case, for a maximum of 24 months.
Data related to donations and sponsorships is retained according to the terms indicated in Section 3.
Data will not be transferred to third parties for marketing purposes or sold. They will be processed exclusively by the Controller, except as indicated in Section 3.5.
Files uploaded to the ArtiFix web application (artifix.streamlit.app) for conversion, repair, or viewing are processed in memory on the server and are not stored after processing. The Controller does not retain copies of user files.
